Tiba' Eyes Politics After Retiring

One of the country's top police brass and long serving public servant announced on Friday that he would be retiring at 60, after reaching the mandatory retirement age.

He is among the estimated 700 police officers expected to bid farewell to the force by the end of the year.

The looming retirements has necessitated major changes within the force that were announced recently by commissioner of police Saidi Mwema in Dar es Salaam.
