Sports NEWS: Boxers depart for Mwanza training camp

THE National boxing squad leaves for Mwanza this morning to set up a training camp in ready for the forthcoming Africa Boxing championship scheduled for Madagascar from May 15 to 22.

The Secretary General for the Boxing Federation of Tanzania (BFT), Gaston Mlay, said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that everything was in place for the team’s departure. The squad which comprises 13 boxers under the tutelage of Nassoro Michael and Remy Ngabo departs by bus for Dodoma where they will board a train to Mwanza.
