The parliamentary Local Governments Accounts Committee has directed district councils in Mwanza Region to closely follow up development projects being implemented in their areas of jurisdiction.
The chairman of the committee, Mr George Simbachawene, observed at the end of the committee's four-day tour of the region that most councils did not have up-to-date information on development projects being implemented in their areas.
