The closure of Uhuru Stadium has forced Star TV, a station that has exclusive rights to broadcast live Premier League matches, to televise Kirumba Stadium games only.
The Mwanza- based TV station secured the rights to broadcast the matches early this season after eclipsing its competitors.
Star TV director Samwel Nyala told The Citizen yesterday that the closure of the venue dealt them a blow since their Open Broadcasting Van (OB Van) could not travel long distances.
