Precision Air suspends Mwanza-Bukoba flights

Precision Air (PW), a leading private carrier, has announced flights suspension between Mwanza and Bukoba effective next Monday. The flights are not expected to resume shortly because the airline has phased-out its LET 410 fleet and the airport’s runway cannot accommodate ATR 42 operations.

The airline operated the route for over ten years but has to take this action because LET 410 aircraft does not meet the International Operational Safety Standards (IOSA) requirements which the airline is maintaining.
