Kiswahili dictionary software at drawing table

THE government envisages working closely with Microsoft to develop a software for a Kiswahili dictionary that will supplement two existing such dictionaries, which were meant for academic consumption rather than day-to-day usage.

The e-Government Advisor from the President's Office (Public Service Management), Mr David Sawe, said a Microsoft and free logging software available were laden with academic words, which were difficult for day-to-day usage.
