TAIFA Stars host Senegal's Lions of Teranga at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza tomorrow in an African Cup of Nations qualifier, which Tanzania must not lose if they are to keep alive their dreams of qualifying for the finals in Ghana, next year.

Senegal lead Group Seven with six points after two wins and one loss, while Tanzania, who have four points, are joint second with Burkina Faso. Mozambique are rooted to the bottom of the group with two points. After the Saturday's match, Taifa Stars will be left with two matches - an away fixture against Burkina Faso and a home tie against Mozambique.

Therefore, Taifa Stars should make their home venue advantage count by upsetting the Star-studded Lions of Teranga in front of thousands of home fans led by President Jakaya Kikwete in the Rock City. There are 12 qualifying groups, where each group winner qualifies automatically for Ghana. They will be joined by the top three runners-up from the groups made up of four teams.
