SPORTS NEWS: No decision yet on Algiers games

WITH only two weeks to go before the start of All African Games in Algeria, the government is yet to decide on the budget for the country's delegation for the continent's tough games.

Tanzania plans to send teams for tennis, amateur boxing, judo, paralympics as well as track and field events in the tournament to start on July 5 in the capital, Algiers.

"Nothing has been decided so far. We are still holding talks and the matter will be settled soon", Deputy Director for Sports Development, Juliana Yasoda told the 'Daily News' yesterday.
