JPMORGAN CHASE SPONSORS 2ND ANNUAL TANZANIA INVESTMENT FORUM

The Tanzania Private Sector Foundation in partnership with the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture, Tanzania Investment Center and Tanzania National Business Council will lead a senior level business delegation to New York City and convene the 2nd Annual Tanzania Investment Forum, September 16th – 22nd, 2007.

We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Tanzania Investment Forum is hosted and sponsored by JPMorgan Chase. The forum will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at the JPMorgan World Headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in New York City.

The JPMorgan Chase sponsorship of the 2nd Annual Tanzania Investment Forum was facilitated by Mr. Osman Samantar, Chairman of African Investment Group Inc.

The Trade Mission will focus on assisting Tanzanian companies that want to enter the U.S. market for the first time as well as assist U.S. companies wishing to enter the Tanzanian market.

The Trade Mission will help participating firms gain market information, make business and government contacts, solidify business strategies, and advance specific projects, all geared
towards the goal of increasing trade and investment between Tanzania
and the U.S.

The Trade Mission will include meetings with key government officials and local chambers of commerce. The Mission will additionally provide a platform for policy and commercial issues —
including Africa Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA), customs regulations, intellectual property rights protection, transparency, and rule-of-law — that both Tanzanian and U.S. companies face doing business in the respective countries.
The delegation will be comprised of Tanzanian firms representing a broad cross section of Tanzanian industries looking for buyers, distributors, partners, investors and U.S. products.
Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), U.S. Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and the U.S. Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im) will participate to provide information and counseling on their
funding programs as they relate to the Tanzanian and U.S. markets.
