Olomide lighst up Mwanza

ANTOINE Koffi Olomide and his Quartier Latin International band quenched Mwanza City residents' long sought entertainment curiosity from the group on Friday when the band performed for over two hours during the launch of this year's Fiesta.

Unlike in the past when Koffi had once disappointed the Lake Zone music fans here by arriving at the stage late and yet performing only one number, the group played seven numbers during the show.

The band took to the stage at exactly 6:50 a.m. and performed continuously until 3:05 a.m. on Saturday, stealing most of the time allocated for Juma Nature with his TMK Wanaume Halisi group.
