Examination results of more than 100 pupils of Pamba A, B and C primary schools in Mbugani Ward in Mwanza have been withheld because children did not pay 500/- each towards paying the school's watchman.
A number of teachers interviewed by PST said pupils who did not pay the money would not be provided with examination results for May and June this year.
The schools, which have more than 3,000 pupils, employ only one watchman.
