JK directs repair of road in Mwanza

PRESIDENT Jakaya Kikwete yesterday directed the Tanzania Roads Agency (TanRoads) authorities in Mwanza Region and Sengerema District to start repairing the Sengerema-Nyakalilo road within six months.

Mr Kikwete admitted that the government had overlooked the over 50-km road, which is in a very bad shape and directed the authorities to send him progress reports after every three months.
