SPORTS NEWS: Yanga detail Mwanza tie outlay

YOUNG Africans SC earned 74m/- after deductions from their Confederations Cup quarter final qualifier tie against Sudan’s El Merreikh last Sunday at the CCM-Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza.

Chairman of the clubs’ interim committee, Francis Kifukwe said yesterday that the income was 65 per cent of gate collections, which Yanga’s main sponsor; Yusuf Manji had bought for 100m/-

Kifukwe said Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) each received 14.9m/- from the collection while the stadium pocketed 9.9m/-.
