Use Mwanza regional business council fully

FAR away from home, the press helped me learn President Jakaya Kikwete would tour Mwanza Region. He toured the region. Mwanza was in my mind again: the home of cotton, fresh fish, cattle rearing and gold mining. Yes, cotton is also affectionately referred to as white gold. Mwanza city is competing with Dar es Salaam with mushrooming business ventures.

But all said, Mwanza Region is yet to become one of Tanzania's productive centres it should have been by now.

I followed carefully the reports on the president's tour and, I have the liberty to say the region still lacks initiatives to harness the great potentials hidden in cotton production, fish and cattle industries. The president may have said this in different words.
