SPORTS NEWS: Stars leave Friday for Kampala

THE national football team, Taifa Stars, is expected to leave on Friday for a friendly match against Uganda Cranes in Kampala on Saturday.

According to a press release issued yesterday by Tanzania Football Federation's (TFF) Information Officer Florian Kaijage, the team was doing well with preparatory training.

Meanwhile, the CCM Kirumba Stadium, where the match between Stars and Senegal is expected to take place, has been refurbished, giving it a new look ready for the crucial tie.
